I received an email earlier in the year from Garrett Fallon. He had long toyed with the idea of an angling magazine that focused upon the quality of its writing rather than the fish themselves, and he was finally doing something about it.
He invited me to pitch an article and I am very glad that I did. The first Issue has just been released and features some 28,000 words from the pens of Chris Yates, Tom Fort, Dominic Garnett and many others (myself included!).
The initial response has been overwhelming and having read the first Issue myself it is easy to see why.
Garrett and his team have created a beautiful magazine. Weaving wonderful images with fine writing in a stunning design.
