Kevin Parr is a writer, fisherman and amateur naturalist. He is a regular contributor and plodcast host for BBC Countryfile magazine and is deputy editor for Fallons Angler.

He also contributes to BBC Wildlife Magazine and has written for The TelegraphThe Independent, Caught By The River, Birdwatching magazine, Anglers Mail and The Idler.

His books include An Unnatural History of Britain, The Quiet Moon, Rivers Run,  The Idle Angler and the black comedy, The Twitch.

Kevin lives in West Dorset with his wife and a colony of grass snakes a few strides from his garden gate.
